UPDATE: Chattanooga police have arrested the gentleman accused of stealing a automobile with a little one inside of of it on Monday.

Law enforcement say there was no pursuit but the suspect crashed the auto on the Volkswagen exit and then ran into the woods.

Police say the youngster was not hurt in the crash. Regional 3 Information was there when the household left the law enforcement office after becoming reunited with her family members.

“I’m grateful law enforcement worked so speedily,” reported the child’s mother, who did not want to be identified. “I am just glad she is all right.”
