1 dead in Cheshire crash, car hits 4 other vehicles, spins

CHESHIRE, Conn. — Condition law enforcement are investigating a collection of situations that led to the death of a passenger in a automobile that law enforcement were making an attempt to stop being killed in a multi-car or truck crash Saturday night. 

Arthur Wright, 64, of Cheshire, died immediately after staying taken to the hospital pursuing the crash that occurred on Highland Avenue soon right after 7 p.m. when the motor vehicle he was a passenger in spun out and hit 4 other automobiles. 

According to the incident report, Wright was in a 2010 Lexus traveling north on Highland Avenue. Cheshire law enforcement ended up attempting to quit the auto for an not known reason. The motor vehicle followed a Jeep Commander, a Mitsubishi Eclipse, and a Ford Transit Van.

The Lexus moved around into the center line, and the rear end struck the still left side of a Volkswagen Jetta heading south on Highland Avenue. The Lexus then move again into the northbound lane striking the Jeep. The Lexus spun counterclockwise, hitting the Mitsubishi and the Ford. 

Wright was taken to St. Mary’s Clinic, exactly where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Lexus was taken to the hospital and treated for non-lifetime-threatening injuries. No one particular else sought healthcare therapy.
